The Volare incorporates WaveSpring™ technology in both the heel and forefoot for incomparable cushioning and energy return for the neutral runner who wants to reduce impact stress. The deflection nature of the WaveSpring™ maintains "like new" performance throughout the life of the shoe, while reducing impact shock resulting in less stress and fatigue. The high abrasion carbon rubber outsole and single density midsole flex plate, combined with the EVA cushion pads on the forefoot exterior and the anatomical WaveSpring™ design, work together to provide increased flexibility and cushioning. The breathable upper materials and the forefoot "flex fingers" over the metatarsals provide exceptional fit and comfort.
