We are pleased to announce that Dick and Rick Hoyt, a/k/a Team Hoyt, have joined Team Spira! Dick and Rick will be featured in our InSPIRAtional stories campaign, which will highlight individuals who have overcome tremendous odds and inspire others to be their best!

As you will see below, Rick and Dick story is one of the most inspirational you will ever hear. They have competed in over 950 race events, 60 marathons, and 6 Ironman Triathlons. Even as Dick approaches 70 years of age, he and Rick are still competing. They have recently been inducted into the Ironman triathlon Hall of Fame.

Rick and Dick will join us at the WALT DISNEY WORLD(r) Marathon Weekend on January 8-11, 2009 in Orlando, FL. They will be featured in the Speakers Series and participate in the WALT DISNEY WORLD(r) Half Marathon on January 10th. This date is very special as it is also Rick's 47th birthday. We hope you can help celebrate the triumph of the spirit of a remarkable father and son.
